Stockton provides residents with affordable, comfortable housing. New residential developments, in the north and south, complement historic homes found throughout central Stockton. Nearly 2,500 new homes were constructed in Stockton during 2005. In February 2005 the average sales price for a single family home or condominium was $322,460. In February 2006, the median home price rose by 12.9% to $364,052.
